The Project Manager of ENHAnCE also completes a Ph.D., related to Digital Twins in Engineering

The productivity of this project is evident as even its Project Manager pursued her own Ph.D.

Maria Megia, the Project Manager of ENHAnCE, successfully defended her Ph.D. on April 23, 2024. Her thesis, titled “Digital Twins in Civil Engineering: Conceptual Framework and Real-world Implementations,” highlights the project’s significant impact on advancing knowledge and innovation in the field. Throughout her journey, Maria was supported by her supervisors, Manuel Chiachío, who also is the Coordinator of ENHAnCE, and Javier Melero, from the University of Granada’s Civil and Computing Engineering departments respectively.
