Our second PhD is the ESR Juan Fernández, who successfully defended is thesis in June, 2023, at the University of Granada, Spain, with the title “A Probabilistic Framework for Prognostics with Uncertainty Quantification Based on Physics-Guided Bayesian Neural Networks”.

We fondly recall his remarkable achievement within our European project Enhance. Join us in commemorating the success of Juan, who completed his PhD under the guidance of his supervisor, Juan Chiachío, making a profound impact on our journey of innovation.

Juan has demonstrated exceptional capacity and dedication throughout his research journey. His work in developing a probabilistic framework using physics-guided Bayesian neural networks has not only advanced our project but also contributed significantly to the field of prognostics.
